-   The best spot with the best view is located to the West of the sand beach (to the left of it as you walk towards the sea) by the little grotto.   

 

-   As you continue walking westwards, you get more privacy & the views don't get any worse. 

- Meltemi wind makes waves grow fast. Avoid going to the water by the cliffs if the water gets turbulent. It is more dangerous than it seems!

- The ash rocks are smooth but can be sharp. Be careful!

The beach is divided into three parts.

Central beach - the biggest one with 2 bars, tavernas & parking.

West beach - a bar & a parking lot. Access through the bar or by a walk/swim from the Central b. 

East beach access only by a swim from the Central b.

Attention

Yellow patches on the cliffs are an indication of volcanic sulfur. It has a specific smell...

Stay away from those patches to avoid it.

To get to the hike, you will need to drive a long & partially damaged dirt road.

 

 Bring shoes & water for the hike.

We don't provide/promote/recommend any particular boat trip yet. The boat tours to here cost ~100 €

 

If you are hiking, the only way to get around the bay is swimming.

The beach is split into 4 parts.

You can park relatively close to each one. Or hike/swim over/around the capes separating them. 

 

We don't recommend driving down to the point where the road is covered with sand. You might have trouble going up later.
