The island is a steep mountain ridge whose cliffs abruptly descend into the sea. Its coastline is adorned with numerous caves, grottoes & underwater formations. The rocky beaches in the north are hard to reach but grant privacy. The sandy beaches are clustered in the southern part which is more flat & windy.
